the shadows of the network cast gross shadows over land and water causing the perceptive to gag at the sight of the increasing darkness although they know that when a web gets stronger it must get thicker and when it gets thicker it starts to get tangled and when it gets tangled confusion sets in and order is compromised and we fall into complete darkness under the matted cloud of telephone wires and ethernet cables and radio waves and highways and airlines and plotlines and friendships and fishing line and giant cargo and you give the fuck up because its too hard to go through life tangled up and even worse to have to carry a machete around all the time to cut yourself out of mundane situations that didnt used to be considered mundane situations but crises but nobody noticed cuz it came on slow like a spider in your sleep that latched on and released its poison at an imperceptibly slight rate so you could not could not could not know when it had you under its control and you wouldnt know when you were acting out its wishes but the funny thing is that we are the spiders and we spun the web and we bit everyone we knew in their sleep
