left right and center is a very good radio show that comes on kcrw every friday afternoon at two thirty and a centrist and a conservative and a liberal guest have a sane and rational discussion about american politics which is mediated by a very smart and very good host who is slightly to the left of center and describes himself as a radical centrist while both of the real extremists are actually a little ridiculous and annoying and complaining and whining and exasperated at the intellectual foibles of their counterpart across the aisle and the centrist guest is usually an engaging canadian woman whose views i generally agree with but anyway the point is that i always listen to the show in the car while i am running around doing errands which means i am getting in and out of the car and i only catch probably twenty out of the thirty minutes of the show which is a terrific annoyance but on the other hand it is a terrific motivation to get my errands done quickly so i can get back in the car and listen to the show while i drive to the next place but my haste probably makes me appear rude to the clerks i interact with
